How to Create a Roadrunner Email/Spectrum Email Account.

Due to the re-branding of Roadrunner email and TWC Mail to the Spectrum brand, the old rr.com and webmail.runner.com web addresses no longer work and you will need to use the Spectrum sign up page to sign up for a new email account. You must be a Spectrum customer and you must have a Spectrum.net username and password to create a new email account.

If you are a customer and have not yet created your online username and password, you can do so by going to the main homepage ( www.spectrum.net ) and clicking on the link labelled ‘Create a Username’.

Alternatively, you can reach the account sign up form by clicking here and following the on-screen instructions.

Creating A Spectrum Email Account.

• Once you have a Spectrum.net username and password, you need to sign in to your account and then go to the ‘Menu’ icon in the top left of the screen.
• From there, click on ‘Manage Account’.
• Select the ‘Internet’ option and then choose ‘Create Email Address’.
• Then, click the ‘Create Mailbox’ button.
• You will then be prompted to re-enter the password associated with your Spectrum.net account. After doing this, click the ‘Finish’ button and the Spectrum or RoadRunner email sign up process will be complete.
• Your email address will be created, using your Spectrum username as the prefix for the new address.

PS: Spectrum email addresses are not created automatically for every customer. You must create an email account to be able to receive messages through Spectrum email.

Registered users are also able to create sub accounts, allowing more than one email address to be linked to the main account. This can be carried out by going to the ‘Subscriber Self Care’ section and clicking on ‘Create a New Sub User’. You will then need to choose a username and password for the sub account.

My Old Spectrum Email or Roadrunner Email account is locked. How do I unlock it?

Spectrum/Roadrunner email accounts are locked after 6 months of inactivity. After 6 months, new incoming messages are rejected.

But, all of your old emails are still available on your account as long as your Spectrum Internet account is active.

How to Create a New Xfinity Comcast Email Account.

Xfinity Comcast Email is available to existing or former customers of the various services provided by Comcast or Xfinity.

To create a new Xfinity Comcast email account, you will need to create an online Xfinity account and username. Click here, to get to te account registration page.

Note: If you’re an Xfinity Internet customer, your primary Xfinity username was already created for you, when you activated your Xfinity Internet service.

The username that you choose will serve as the prefix for your new Comcast or Xfinity email address. For example, if you choose the username iloveemail717, then your new email address will be iloveemail717@comcast.net.

You must provide either your account number, your social security number, or the mobile phone number associated with your exisiting Xfinity account to proceed with the Xfinity Comcast Email sign up. Once you have selected which of those options you want to provide, click on the ‘Continue’ button. Then, simply work your way through the step-by-step sign up.

If you want to give other members of your household access to your Xfinity account, you can easily create new secondary usernamse for each of them. Each Comcast or Xfinity primary account holder is entitled to create six additional usernames for their account, taking the total number of usernames and email addresses up to seven. To do this, go to http://www.xfinity.com, click on ‘My Account’, sign in as the primary user and then go to the ‘Users’ tab at the top of the page.

From there, click ‘Add a New User’ and then select the ‘Create Credentials’ option. You will need to enter some basic personal details, select a unique username and choose a password. The password you choose will need to be at least eight characters long, cannot contain spaces and must include a combination of letters, numbers and/or symbols.

How to Change a Gmail Password or Reset Your Gmail Password.

Change or reset your Gmail/Google Account password in seconds. You may want to change your Gmail password, if you suspect that it it has been compromised or if you believe it is too easy to guess/not secure enough.

Similarly, a reset of your Gmail password may be necessary, if you have forgooten your Google account password. This is how you do it.

How to Change your Gmail Password.

1. Open Gmail in any internet browser and sign in.

6. Verify your current password.
7. Type in a new password.
8. Type the new password again to confirm.
9. Click on “Change Password”.

Please note, that you cannot change your Gmail password from your mobile phone within the Gmail app.

How to Reset your Gmail Password.

This is how you reset or recover a forgotten Gmail/Google Account password.

1. Go to http://www.gmail.com and click “sign In”. If your email username or phone number does not automatically appear, then type it into the field and click on “NEXT”.
2. Click on “Forgot Password?”.
3. Enter the last password that you remember and click on “Next”. If you have forgotten all your previous passwords, then click on “Try Another Way”.You will be asked to have a verification code sent the phone number associated with your Google account, or have a code sent to your recovery email address. Continue to have the code sent to you.
4. Open the email or text message from Google
5. Enter the verification code from the message in the verification code field.
6. If successful, enter a new password and confirm it.
7. Click on “Change password”.
8. Click on “ACCEPT”. You have now reset your password and now sign into Gmail with your new password.

Please note that if you could not remember a previous password or you could not receive a message at the designated mobile phone number, or recovery email, the system will ask you a series of questions to verify your identity. It will ask you to “Briefly tell us why you can’t access your account.” Enter your reason in details, for example, you have forgotten your password, or you think your email has been hacked, and click on Submit. Google will get back to you in 3-5 business days.

It is advisable to submit the account/password recovery from the SAME device or computer location/IP address that you normally use to access your account.

Google® is very helpful with letting users recover their data, password and Gmail account, if the user has provided enough security information when registering his or hers account. If you cannot access your recovery email, your recovery mobile phone, or could still be able to recover your Gmail® password by verifying your identity by answering security questions.

• Go to the Google Account Recovery page.
• Enter your email address and click on the “Continue” link.
• Choose the “I don’t know” option for the password.
• Choose the “Verify your identity” option (under all other available options).

TIPS for Answering Verification Questions:

• Don’t worry if you get it wrong and you are denied. If you get the “Google couldn’t verify this account belongs to you” message, then try again.

It is also important to stress that if you have problems with the Verizon Email login process, you need to contact AOL Mail’s customer service team, rather than the Verizon Communications team. The old Webmail.Verizon.com and Verizon.Net Email login pages are no longer active, but simply refers to the two login pages listed above.

Verizon Wireless Login.

If you are attempting to log in to your Verizon Wireless (Mobile) account to pay a bill or view your mobile usage, then go directly to Verizon Wireless login page, and enter your login credentials.

MyVerizon FIOS Login.

If you are a Verizon Fios customer, and you want to watch TV online, or view and pay your bill, Verizon has a dedicated login page for FIOS customers at MyVerizon.

Common Verizon Login Problems.

Again, the old Webmail.verizon.com and Verizon.Net email access webpages are no longer active. If you decided to migrate your Verizon Email account to AOL Mail or Yahoo Mail, then visit Mail.AOLcom ) or  Verizon.Yahoo.com, respectively, to login to your mail account.

If you are having problems signing into AOL with your @verizon.net email address, then make sure you use your full verizon.net email address, including @verizon.net, as your AOL Mail username, e.g. username@verizon.net.

If you are having problems signing into Yahoo Mail withyour @verizon.net email address, then make sure to use your full verizon.net email address, including @verizon.net, as your Yahoo Mail username, e.g. username@verizon.net.

If you want to sign in to your Verizon Wireless account or MyVerizon FIOS account, then visit Verizon WIreless or MyVerizon.

If you continue to have problems logging in to any of your accounts, then go through this checklist:

• First, check that your internet connection is working. Often, WIFI in public spaces often require you to connect first through a unique start page.
• Try different username/password combinations. You could have forgotten a small detail, Capital Letters or included a SPACE by mistake. A SPACE counts as a character in a password.
• If you are attempting to log in to your Verizon Wireless account, then check that the Verizon server is UP by visiting: www.isitdownrightnow.com/verizonwireless.com.html.
• Try to sign in from another mobile device or laptop. This will help you isolate the problem.
• Open an Incognito Mode/Private Browsing tab in your browser and log in via this tab.
• Try to sign in with another internet browser, for example with Chrome, Opera, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer.
• Delete your internet browser cache and cookies, close the web browser, open it and then try again.
• Temporarily disable all add-ons, plugins, anti-virus and anti-malware and ad-blocker programs that may interfere with the login process.

I did not migrate my @verizon.net email address to AOL or Yahoo in time.

Verizon email customers can’t keep their Verizon.net email address or extract their data to another service provider, if it has not been done already. All verizon.net email and address contacts that had not migrated to AOL or Yahoo Mail December 15, 2017 has been deleted from the Verizon systems.
